The matcha scent comes from powdered green tea, which is traditionally made from the fine tea leaves and young shoots of the green tea tree (Camellia sinensis). Matcha is especially popular in Japanese culture.
The HERB & EARTH edition is the only one from Nippon Kodo made up of a weak bamboo stick in the middle and a mixture of wood and herbs. The sticks produce minimal smoke only spreading an intense aroma.
20 sticks per pack, which are approximately 25 cm long. Each one burns for approximately 25 minutes.
